Project for SOS Children’s Villages Association

StatConsulting has conducted segmentation project and provided recommendations concerning the collection of data for SOS Children’s Villages Association.

These recommendations focused on more effective use of the data already in the Association’s possession. Methods of acquiring additional information about the benefactors and their activities were also recommended. Having access to more complex data will enable in the future to perform analyses and devise models improving the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

An immediate result of the introduced recommendations was an update of the existing segmentation of the donor database, thanks to which it was possible to identify neglected areas of the database and define new segments. This resulted in the optimization of marketing efforts (such as decreasing campaign costs, increasing the ROI index).

“We are convinced that the support and know-how we obtained will translate into even better adjustment of marketing communications to the capabilities of the donors using channels of communication which they prefer (traditional letter, email, telephone conversation). The deployment of the recommendations provided by StatConsulting will improve the effectiveness with which our organization obtains donations from individual donors.” Barbara Rajkowska, Chairman of the Board, SOS Children’s Villages Association in Poland.
